I am Turrelking of the fucking world, lover of schnapps. Ask about my sewage outflow scars.I'm pretty new to the whole urbex hobby if you want to be realistic about it. My first real exploration started on a whim over in California when a few friends and I were bored, figured we'd go waste time at a few local abandonments. The disease wouldn't set in until half a year later when I stumbled upon a few photos on opacity.us, again, out of boredom. I was mesmerized by the whole thing and I realized that this was something I could really get into. I joined up on the UER forums and hit my first local abandonment with PunkUE on August 27th, 2007, after I had asked a bit about Leavens on the '07 site - offered a free tour, I wasn't one to say no. The pictures came out crappy, but overall, it was a great experience. Ended up going draining for the first time the next day, and I've pretty much been exploring on and off with Punk and ADE since. Everyone always complained that I need a hobby anyways, so here we go. I don't find myself as much of a good photographer, but there's something about exploring these old, decayed buildings and underground playgrounds that makes me feel alive. I love seeing new things and I'm pretty much willing to explore anything - the abandoned outhouse is a testament to that, that thing rocked.Like a bad disease, though, I'm here to stay. And so long as a building still stands empty I'll be around to try to make an ass of myself in it and take pictures. What the world leaves behind is my playground. One man's trash is another man's treasure. My favorite locations so far are the Providence Produce Market (RIP, that place was fucking amazing beyond words for me), Leavens, 716 drain, and the Advanced Waste water Treatment Facility.]
